With our latest API update, we are giving platforms and communities even more tools for protecting their users.
So far, the Rewire API has been able to detect ⚠️ hate
💥 abuse and 🤬 profanities. Now, the API can also detect 🔞 sexually explicit content!
Why detect sexually explicit content?
Sexually explicit content should only be accessible on platforms where this is explicitly allowed or desired. Platforms for workspaces or for younger audiences, on the other hand, may not want to allow any sexually explicit content. By automatically detecting such content, the Rewire API can help keep more communities safe.
What’s special about
the Rewire API?
We have trained our model for sexually explicit content detection on a wide range of data from different domains, to make sure that it can identify any kind of relevant content. At the same time, we took special care that the API is not overly sensitive, so that it does not swamp you with innocuous content incorrectly labelled as being sexually explicit.
